How has feedback affected my work? How has it been useful or not?

I am so happy with the feedback that I have had for my book, I know it's mostly friends and family so far but I'm chuffed regardless. I think that at some points people liked my characters more than I did myself and so feedback has definitely affected my work by keeping me persistent and determined, to create the kind of outcome that I believe I have now successfully achieved.

Do my ideas relate to each other or previous works? How do they relate?

Looking at the final outcome now it is so strange to see what I was working with only a few weeks ago, to think at one point I was convinced that this would become an animation or even just something in black and white. That all seems absurd now. This work is such a cumulation of the work I have made up to this point and you can really see that throughout, the characters still have some of the blocky features from when they were made of paper and the colours look just like those of the map that I made at the very beginning of the FMP.

What were the breakthrough moments and how did these come about? my work?

This is definitely a massive breakthrough moment for me and this project! Having this done feels like the right way of presenting my project and I really hope that as many people get to read a copy as possible. Picking them up today felt really monumental and I am really pleased to see my characters in this format.

What will I do differently in future? What will I develop in future?

In the future I would definitely be way more careful with spellchecking and get a couple more people to look over it as well. But I also recognise that there is always going to be something that goes slightly wrong and I did the best I could with what I had. Im trying not to get too hung up on it and view it as a more natural part of the process.
